The aim is to give students more practice through listening to music or extracts of films or tv shows. I would like them to have more contact with other ways of expression like songs or poems. Finally, I will use videos where teachers explain different strategies to improve their English.
She has a nice voice but I prefer the original version because it has a better melody. PD: finally, I have been able to enter in the blog. I swear I can't beleive it because my internet doesn't work very well. I haven't got time to listen the phonetic videos but i'm going to look for some time this weekend.
The true is that I don't know the original song, but I have listened now and I prefer the cover, I like more the voice of the girl than the boy, I don't know why, maybe because the voice of the boy is older than the voice of the girl, that is more modern, and I don't like usually old voices.
I don't like this cover because the girl's voice is too much normal, there's people who have a great voice but they can't show it to the world. But the song(the melody and the lyrics) is so good ^^
The original song was by The Velvet Underground, an american band in the 60´s. They were great but difficult sometimes. In fact, the lead singer in the song was a german girl called Nico.
